6 basic colours as used by Ian Bennett at Hats off to Brisbane workshops.
Extremely brilliant and colorfast, Jacquard's Acid Dyes are concentrated, powdered, hot water dyes that give the most vibrant results possible on protein fibers. They produce a uniform dye job, which is always a challenge for dyers. The colors are beautiful, pure, transparent and luscious enough to dive into. Although we sell other dyes that will color these fibers, Jacquard Acid Dyes are the best. Don't be alarmed by the name, the only acid involved is the white vinegar (acetic acid) that you add to the dye bath. In addition to garment dyeing, you can paint or print with these dyes using a steam setting.
A half oz/14 g bottle will color up to 2 lbs/.91 kg of fiber, depending on the depth of the shade.
